Who are ken and erika

Owners and operators Ken and Erika Sporalsky have been in the training and riding instruction field for over 30 years.  Erika earned a Bachelor of Science in Equine Sciences from Oregon State University, and later returned for a Master of Science in Agricultural Education.  She has trained hundreds of students to become proficient horsemen.  Her students have enjoyed competing locally, regionally, and nationally in many western disciplines.  

Ken, in his time as a trainer, has started over 300 horses as well as riding and training on over 2000 horses.  He has been an educator at equine Expos, and has been a clinician throughout the state of Oregon.  He has trained horses to top ten NRHA finishes and a top ten APHA world show qualifier in reining. Additionally, Ken has mentored several apprentices who have gone on to work with world number one and top 25 NRHA trainers, and have successful careers of their own in the industry.  

Most importantly to Ken and Erika, hundreds of kids and adults have enjoyed learning to ride and partner with whatever horse they bring, whether they want to compete or ride for fun.  We care about each individual client and their goals.  Our clients are like family.
